POSITION SUMMARY
Set up, operate, or tend welding equipment or robots that weld, braze, solder, cut, stress relieve, or heat treat metal products, components, or assemblies.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Setup to cut, robotically weld, shot blast, process, and grind parts per blueprint, work order, or oral instruction.
Load, cut/machine, robot-weld, shot blast, and unload parts at cutting equipment, robot welding cell, and shot blast system by drawing and program.
Visually inspect parts to verify proper weld quality.
Operate machinery to blast parts to a white metal finish and keep parts identified according to Syteline requirements.
Deburr and clean parts.
Use jib and overhead cranes.
Support other work centers as needed based on workload demand.
Setup and fabricate parts from blueprints using a robotic welder or other automated equipment.
Follow instructions and keep paperwork in order.
Use grinders and hand tools as needed.
Visually inspect welds to insure the quality and accuracy of the product is adequate.
Will cross train on other jobs as needed.
Punch channel as necessary.
Trouble shoot water jet as needed.
Must be able to travel for training, if needed.
Comply with established safety policies and procedures. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment as directed. Use appropriate tools designed for their specific job tasks. Provide feedback related to hazard assessments and/or accident investigations.
