Job Description

Flex operator ensures daily responsibilities are accomplished by employees on an assigned work shift. This includes delegating daily tasks, answering employee questions and resolving issues. The Flex operator completes all necessary duties to fill in for the zones team leader. Flex operator will report to the zone team lead. Flex operators are to lead employees by example, adhering to all company policies and always assisting the zone team leader

Sole Responsibility / Assignments to be completed by the position:

This includes assigning individual work tasks and assessing employee work performance.
Document OEE data for daily production.
Perform LPA Audits.
Assists with assigning employee work shifts, schedule work tasks, meetings, and other events.
Perform CI projects.
Obtain information about the production plan before the start of the shift.
Work with the production planner regarding the planning of production.
Accurately complete appropriate paperwork and /or enter date into computer.
Perform of the duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Perform Mold Changes
Perform Mold Maintenance
Perform machine operator duties. Run daily production inspection of parts and packing parts correctly. Use lissi functions correctly.

Leadership skills – assistant team leaders supervise, encourage, and direct other staff members, which requires strong leadership abilities
Problem-solving skills – assistant team leaders manage staff problems and daily operations problems, which requires them to have excellent problem-solving skills
Communication skills – assistant team leaders need strong verbal communication skills to act as a liaison between staff and upper management by answering questions, providing guidance, and making suggestions regarding business sales and operations
Multitasking skills – assistant team leaders manage multiple staff members and tasks simultaneously, which takes good multitasking abilities
Computer comprehension – assistant team leaders need basic computer skills to work with various sales and management software programs, and spreadsheets
MechanicalSkills
· Record production quantities accordingly

· Assist quality and injection department in troubleshooting and identifying defects, as well as the implementation of solutions

· Accurately complete appropriate paperwork and/or enter data in computer

· Assist in the training of new employees

· Continuous participation in improvement of processes and procedures

· Responsible for the cleanliness of the work area

· Does control and sorting work according to directions by the shift supervisor.

· Supports the shift supervisor to ensure all regulations regarding order and cleanliness are complied with throughout the company.

· Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company

· Contributes continuously to improve processes, procedures, operational figures, and informs the supervisor about suggestions for improvements.

· Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

Requirements

Basic computer skills

Excellent attention to detail

Able to read and comprehend

Applicants must have at least a high school diploma/GED or equivalent

Must have good vision and eyesight

Be a self-starter and work independently

Must be productive in a team environment

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Required to work overtime as scheduled
